One person was killed and five more people were injured during a shooting at a train station in the Bronx, New York, this evening.
A report from ABC News said the shooting happened on the platform at the Mount Eden Avenue Station on Monday evening. Passengers on the platform were awaiting the Southbound 4 Train.
One of the victims was reportedly taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. Injuries to the other victims were reported to be “non life-threatening”. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were identified and no arrests have been made at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
