26-year old, Cody Herron, who went viral in October of 2023, after a video of him jumping on a woman’s vehicle and pulling a gun on her as her kids watched in horror hit the internet, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in a Philadelphia courtroom yesterday.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened outside of City Hall on October 1, 2023.
In the video Heron can be seen jumping on the woman’s car until the window breaks, causing glass shards to fall on the children inside the vehicle. When the woman gets out of the car to confront Heron, he headbutts her, before picking up a gun he dropped and pointing it at the woman.
In court on Wednesday, Heron admitted that he was responsible for initiating the altercation and that he had a gun. A sentencing date for Heron was not reported.
