32-year old, Justin Mohn, has been arrested and charged with murder and abuse of a corpse after his father was reportedly found beheaded inside of the family’s Middletown Township home last night.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said police officers responded to a call for reports of a decapitated body at a home located on the 100 block of Upper Orchard Drive at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
According to police Mohn recorded and possibly livestreamed the decapitation. The video was said to have received at least 5,000 views on Youtube before it was taken down. In the video Mohn is alleged to have referred to himself as a “militia leader”, before calling his father a traitor to the Country for being a federal employee for 20-years. Mohn also threatened multiple federal agencies in the video.
Officers reported finding the victim in the upstairs bathroom. Police said Mohn fled the scene in his father’s vehicle. He was taken into custody in Fort Indiantown Gap in Lebanon P.A., about 100 miles from the murder scene. Police said they tracked Mohn’s location by pinging his cell phone.
The report did not say why Mohn drove to that particular location or if he was armed when captured. Mohn was arraigned early Wednesday morning and is being held without bond. He will be housed at the Bucks County Jail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for 2/8/2024 at 9:00 a.m.
