A car and a tow truck reportedly collided causing the car to catch fire in North Philadelphia early this morning. The crash also caused damage to a nearby Family Dollar Store.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the crash happened at the intersection of 22nd & West Cambria Streets at around 3 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
According to police, a Mercedes collided with a tow truck, then hit a traffic light and a light pole, before finally crashing into the Family Dollar Store.
Both vehicles reportedly came to a stop on the sidewalk, with the Mercedes catching fire on the curb. The driver of the Mercedes was rushed to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. There was no word on the driver’s condition.
