Philadelphia Police said someone set a home on fire as multiple shots were fired outside of the home in the Hunting Park section of the city early this morning. Three adults and three children were inside of the home at the time of the wild events.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened outside of a home on the 3800 block of Marshall Street at around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday morning.
Police said they found 25 spent shell casing that were likely fired from two weapons.
“We know multiple –multiple bullets went through the front door of that property and those bullets lodged into the walls and staircase of that property”, said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector, Scott Small.
Police said they found a gas can they believe was used to set the fire outside of the home. The fire was extinguished, but the home was left riddled with bullets. A possible motive for the incident was not reported.
