Philadelphia Police said they are searching for a 17-year old who escaped from police custody in the University City section of the city late this morning.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the 17-year old, identified as Shane Pryor, escaped from the emergency room parking lot at Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia, shortly before noon on Wednesday morning.
Pryor was reportedly being held on charges of rape and attempted murder. Police said the teen should be considered dangerous. Pryor was not in possession of any weapons at the time of his escape. Police were last seen searching the area around 34th & Spruce Streets.
