32- year old, Rayshawn Bennet, A.K.A., Rapper YFN Lucci, has reportedly accepted a plea deal that would see him serve half of his 20-year prison sentence on probation. Lucci had been looking at serving life in prison for his participation in a drive-by shooting that left 28-year old, James Adams, dead in 2020.

Court reporter for WSBTV, Michael Seiden, who was in the courtroom for Lucci’s sentencing reported the news about the rapper’s sentence in real time on Tuesday afternoon via X (Formerly Twitter)

Lucci will receive credit for time served after being locked up since he turned himself in, back in January of 2021. Lucci’s negotiated plea dropped multiple charges connected to the shooting and charged him with one count of Participating In Criminal Gang Activity. Lucci will reportedly serve about 3.5 more months in prison before being released to serve the remainder of his 20-year sentence on probation.
