A 23-year old man was reportedly killed after he crashed into a SEPTA bus while attempting to flee from a traffic stop in the Kensington section of the city early this morning.

A report from NBC-10 Philly said the incident happened at Frankford & Allegheny Avenues at around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
According to the report, police did not pursue the driver as he fled. The driver reportedly drove from the traffic stop for about a block before hitting the back of the bus. The impact of the accident did very little damage to the bus, but one passenger on the bus was taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
