The Philadelphia region is expecting a deep freeze on Saturday, after yesterday’s heavy snowfall across the region that didn’t stop or slow down until around 5 p.m. on Friday evening.

A report from Fox-29 Philly said temperatures are expected to be “dangerously cold” this weekend. The freeze will reportedly bring with it temps that are expected to remain in the teens in some areas, and drop to single-digit wind chills in others. Heavy winds are also expected, making this weekend’s weather even nastier.
Officials said any wet spots or uncleared streets or sidewalks will become slick with ice and dangerous to attempt to walk or drive on.
