Six alleged members of Chicago’s “O-Block” Gang were convicted by a jury of killing 26-year old, Carlton Weekly A.K.A. rapper FBG Duck in August of 2020.

A report from Complex News said Marcus “Muwop” Smart, Christopher “C-Thang” Thomas, Kenneth “Kenny Mac” Roberson, Charles “C-Murder” Liggins, Tacarlos “Los” Offerd, and Ralph “Teezy” Turpin, were all found guilty of multiple counts in relation to the murder of FBG Duck.
According to prosecutors: Duck was killed while shopping with his girlfriend in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. Witnesses told police two cars pulled up alongside Duck. Four men jumped out of the cars and began firing at Duck, who was hit a total of 16-times. Duck’s girlfriend and an innocent bystander were also injured during the shooting.
Duck was reportedly rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Prosecutors said Duck was the victim of an ongoing feud between O-Block and FBG Duck’s Tookaville Gang. Tookaville is reportedly a faction of Chicago’s Gangster Disciples.
Offerd, Roberson, Smart, and Liggins were all found guilty on five of the seven counts, including murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Thomas was found guilty of three counts. Turpin, who is alleged to have given the shooters Duck’s location, was found guilty of two counts.
A date for the defendant’s sentencing was not reported.
