Golden State Warriors Assistant Coach, Dejan Milojevic has reportedly passed away from a heart attack while in Utah with the team, who had previously been scheduled to play the Utah Jazz tonight (Wednesday 1/17/24).
A report from the Associated Press said 46-year old, Milojevic was at a private team dinner on Tuesday night when he had a heart attack. Golden State’s game versus the Jazz on Wednesday night has been postponed.
“We are absolutely devastated by Dejan’s sudden passing. This is a shocking and tragic blow for everyone associated with the Warriors and an incredibly difficult time for his family, friends, and all of us who had the incredible pleasure to work with him”, Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr said in a statement released by the team.
