The Philadelphia Eagles will be without their #1 receiver, A.J. Brown, for their playoff matchup against the Tampa Bay Bucs on Monday night.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said Brown is out due to a knee injury he got during last week’s final regular season game against the New York Giants. Brown didn’t practice at all this week. Eagles head coach, Nick Sirianni said Brown’s return this week was always a long-shot.

The Eagles passing attack is likely to be led by DeVonta Smith, with A.J. Brown out. I also expect big games out of Julio Jones and Dallas Goedert catching the ball. I still think the Eagles will come up short.

I think the Eagles would’ve lost this game even if A.J. Brown were playing. This is a team lacking any type of motivation. To start the season 10-1 and not even get a home playoff game is ridiculous. It’s a total collapse and the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of the head coach, whose job it is to have the team motivated and ready to play every week. Anyway, my prediction is Bucs-24 Eagles-13.
