Anthony ‘Big Jook’ Mims was reportedly shot and killed in Memphis Tenn., yesterday. Mims is the brother of 42-year old, Memphis rapper, Yo Gotti.
A report from Page Six said Memphis Police were flagged down by pedestrians outside of Perignons Restaurant & Event Center located at 6385 Winchester at around 4:15 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
Mims was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim showed up at St. Francis Hospital shortly afterward. No information was given on the male victim’s injuries, but police said he was last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
