Two suspects were arrested after reportedly causing several accidents after robbing a bank in Abington, P.A. yesterday.
A report from Fox-29 Philly said police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the American Heritage Credit Union located in the 1300 block of Old York Road at around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.
Police located the suspects’ vehicle in the area of Meetinghouse & Fox Chase Roads. Police attempted to pull the vehicle over but the driver fled, hitting several cars in the process, before smacking right into an Abington Police car. The suspects fled the vehicle on foot and were quickly apprehended.
Police said they recovered the stolen money and a handgun that was reportedly used in the robbery.
