The Memphis Grizzlies have announced that their star point guard will have season-ending surgery after suffering a right shoulder injury during a workout on Saturday.
According to a report from Sportsnaut, the team’s statement said “Morant underwent an MRI that revealed an underlying labral tear”. The team said Morant should make a full recovery and be ready to play for the start of the 2024-2025 NBA season.
The Grizzlies are currently sitting in the #13 spot in the Western Conference with a 13-23 record.
