28-year old, Dominique Bailey from West Philadelphia has been arrested and is now facing charges in connection to the death of her 4-year old son.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said Bailey’s child has not been seen since November 25th, 2023, when she told family that the child had been struck and killed by a car. Family members did not believe Bailey. They contacted 6-ABC Action News to ask for help finding the child.
When ABC checked the information provided by family members they discovered that there were no services for the child or even a report of a car accident happening where Bailey claimed the accident took place. After 6-ABC Action News forwarded this information to police, they began an official investigation into the child’s disappearance/death. The investigation led police to arrest and charge Bailey in the child’s death.
Bailey has been charged with homicide and her 30-year old boyfriend is currently being questioned by police as a suspect. Police said they have not yet recovered a body and the cause of death has not yet been determined.
