40-year old Chaz Wearing has been arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter after allegedly being involved in a fight that ended with a man being hit by a train in University City this week.

A report from CBS-3 Philly said the incident happened on the Eastbound platform at the 34th Street Station on Septa’s Market-Frankford line at around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.

Wearing was taken into custody in the area of 40th Street shortly after the incident. Wearing had an open bench warrant out of Delaware County in a case where he was charged with “strangulation”. A date for Wearing’s initial court appearance was not reported.
