A vehicle crash in Northeast Philadelphia early this morning has reportedly left one teenager dead and another hospitalized.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the crash happened at Academy Road near Red Lion Road at around 1 a.m. on Saturday morning.
According to police: 19-year old, Kyle Prince Joselin was killed when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving and slammed into a utility pole, snapping the vehicle in half.
Joselin was pronounced dead at the scene. An 18-year old, male, passenger was taken to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital where he was last reported to be in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported. An investigation is ongoing.
