A 6-ABC Action News helicopter reportedly crashed in South Jersey early this morning, killing the pilot and a photographer who was onboard the chopper.
A report from CBS-3 Philly said state police found wreckage from the crash in a wooded area in the Wharton State Forest in Washington Township, off of Mullica River Road shortly after midnight on Wednesday morning.
The crashed reportedly occurred after the crew was returning from an assignment in Galloway Township. The chopper was contracted through U.S. Helicopters and worked for 6-ABC WPVI. The names of the victims have not been released at this time. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
