A 44-year old male inmate housed at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility (CFCF) in Northeast Philadelphia, was reportedly killed during an assault early this morning.
A report from NBC-10 Philly said the assault happened at the facility located on the 8100 block of State Road at around 3:34 a.m. on Thursday morning.
Prison officials said the victim died after being assaulted. They did not release any other details about the incident at this time. A possible motive was not reported.
No arrests were reported and no weapon was found.
