Former Minneapolis Police Officer, Derek Chauvin was reportedly stabbed by another inmate and seriously wounded at a Federal Prison in Arizona yesterday.
A report from the Associated Press said the stabbing happened at FCI Tucson at around 12:30 p.m. (local time) on Friday afternoon.
The report was confirmed by the Bureau Of Prisons who reported that “an incarcerated person was assaulted at FCI Tucson at around 12:30 p.m. local time. Responding employees contained the incident and performed ‘life saving measures’ on the inmate, who was taken to an outside hospital for further treatment and evaluation.”
No other injuries were reported. Visiting at the facility has been suspended until further notice.
