A man who is believed to be between the ages of 25-35, was reportedly shot multiple times and killed in the Frankford section of the city this morning.
A report from Fox-29 Philly said the shooting happened at Amber Street & Castor Avenue at around 11:30 a.m. on Friday morning.
The victim was reportedly shot multiple times throughout the body. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died a short time later. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
Police said one person was taken into custody and three weapons were recovered. An investigation is ongoing.
