A 24-year old woman and an unidentified man were critically wounded during a double shooting in the Manayunk section of the city early this morning.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened on the 200 block of Krams Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
First arriving police at the scene reported finding a 24-year old woman shot behind an apartment building. The victim was suffering from a gunshot to the hip. She was rushed to Temple University Hospital where she was last reported in critical condition and unable to speak.
Another man who is believed to have been shot during the same shooting incident was located by police. They found him inside of a car parked in the Lansdowne section of the city. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was also last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
