An 18-year old young man was reportedly shot and killed in the Kensington section of the city yesterday.
A report from NBC-10 Philly said the shooting happened on the 1800 block of E. Schiller Street at around 4:26 p.m. on Monday afternoon.
The victim was reportedly shot 8-times throughout the body. He was rushed to a nearby hospital by police where he was last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
One person is reportedly being held and questioned by police. Authorities did not say if the person was being held and questioned as a suspect, witness, or victim. An investigation is ongoing..
