The teenager that was shot and killed during a triple-shooting in Bensalem on Halloween night has been identified as a 14-year old middle school student.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said 14-year old, Pietro Romano, a student at Snyder Middle school, was shot in the chest. He was rushed to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Police said they were initially called to the scene at Bristol Pike & Woodbine Avenue for a report of a large group of juveniles fighting in the area.
“What we do know is that it started as a fight. It quickly upgraded to a shooting and now we have one individual dead and two others shot”, said Bensalem Police Director Of Public Safety, William McVey.
The two other victims shot at the location were both shot in the legs. A 17-year old victim was placed in stable condition upon arrival, and is currently awaiting surgery. A 19-year old victim was taken to the hospital and has already been released.
No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made at this time.
