A man who was only identified as “a male in his 20’s”, was reportedly shot multiple times and critically wounded in the Kensington section of the city this afternoon.
A report from NBC-10 Philly said the shooting happened on the 2100 block of Birch Street at around 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from multiple gunshots throughout the body. Police rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
