Two people were reportedly killed and another person was injured after a multi vehicle, fiery, crash involving a tanker and several other vehicles on the Pennsylvania Turnpike this morning.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened on the Northeast Extension (I-476) in Worcester Township, between the Mid-County & Lansdale exits on Saturday morning.
No immediate word on the cause of the crash was reported. All lanes of the highway have been shutdown between those exits. Turnpike officials said drivers should expect for the area to be closed to traffic for an “an extended period of time”.
