Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of Philadelphia Police Officer, Richard Mendez at Philadelphia International Airport last Thursday.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the three suspects have been identified. The first suspects was identified as 18-year old, Yobranny Martinez Fernandez from Camden County, N.J., who was the first arrested of the three suspects. Fernandez was taken into custody during an early morning raid at around dawn on Monday in Cherry Hill, N.J.
21-year old, Alexander Batista-Polanco, from Scranton P.A. was arrested and taken into custody on Tuesday morning. 21-year old, Hendrick Pena-Fernandez, from Pennsauken, N.J., was arrested and taken into custody on Wednesday morning.
All three suspects are reportedly being charged with the murder of Officer Mendez. Police haven’t revealed which suspect shot the officer at this time.
