One Philadelphia Police officer was reportedly killed and another officer was injured during a shooting in a parking lot at Philadelphia International Airport last night.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened at parking garage B at Philadelphia International Airport at around 11 p.m. on Thursday night.
Investigators said the incident began when two officers arrived for work at the location. That’s when they spotted multiple suspects attempting to break into nearby vehicles. When the officers intervened, the suspects opened fire.
One of the officers were hit multiple times in the upper body. He was rushed to Penn-Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. The second officer was hit in the arm. He was taken to Methodist Hospital and later transferred to Jefferson Hospital. His current condition was not reported.
One individual matching the description of one of the suspects was found shot at the scene. He was rushed to Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia where he died shortly after arriving. Police can not confirm that that person was connected to the shooting, at this time. A search for the suspects in the shooting is still ongoing.
