A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened inside of the Foodland Chinese Restaurant located at 57th & Arch Streets, shortly before midnight on Tuesday.

A man reportedly walked into the store and blew up the ATM. Police said they are not sure how much, if any, loot the man escaped with. Police said they were hoping surveillance cameras will help to answer those questions. No explosive device was found at the scene.

No damage was done to the building and no one was hurt. Local police said the Bureau Of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms & Explosives (ATF) has taken over the case. An investigation is ongoing.
