Three Philadelphia police officers were reportedly shot and injured in Northeast Philadelphia this evening.
A report from Fox-29 Philadelphia said the shooting happened on the 7500 block of Whitaker Avenue at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
One officer was reportedly shot in the arm, the second officer in the leg, and the third officer was shot in the hand. One suspect has reportedly died. It wasn’t immediately clear if the suspect was killed by police. The current conditions of the injured officers were not reported.
No further details have been reported at this time.
