An unidentified man was shot multiple times and killed and a 20-year old woman was reportedly shot during a shooting in the Frankford section of the city early this morning.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened on the 4100 block of Torresdale Avenue at around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
Police said the block was crowded with people standing in front of a Hookah Lounge and a bar nearby when the shooting began. The victim was reportedly shot multiple times. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died shortly after arriving. The 20-year old female victim was taken to a nearby hospital where she was last reported to be in stable condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
