Two shootings reportedly took place in the same location just hours apart in the Mantua section of the city last night, leaving one victim dead.

A report from 6-ABC Action news said both shootings took place on the 3900 block of Ogden Street on Wednesday night.
The first shooting took place at around 5:30 p.m. In that shooting, a 33-year old man was shot once in the neck at close range. He was rushed to the hospital. His current condition was not reported. The second shooting happened at around 9 p.m. In that shooting, a 39-year old man was shot once in the head. Police rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
“The shooter was standing very, very close to the victim. The spent shell casing was found just a few inches away from where the victim was laying”, Philadelphia Chief Inspector Scott Small, said of the 9 p.m. shooting.
Small said the victim in the first shooting was also shot at close-range. Family members at the hospital said the victims are related. A possible motive for the shootings were not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
