Kayla Myers, ex-girlfriend of rapper Soulja Boy, has asked a judge to sign off on a warrant allowing police officers to enter the rapper’s house and seize property from Soulja, including his cars, to help pay off a $472,000 court ordered judgement owed to her.
A report from Radar Online said court documents show that Myers was award $472,000 in April of this year in a lawsuit that accused Soulja of assaulting her at a house party in 2019. Myers accused Soulja of assaulting her and holding her against her will. Myers said Soulja Boy had his “assistant” tie her up with extension cords and keep her in the house. Myers claimed that she was only able to escape after performing a sex act on the assistant.
At trial, Myers testified that the rapper owned several exotic vehicles including a yellow Bentley, a red Lambo, a Dodge Charger Hellcat, and a yellow Mercedes-Benz. Myers also testified that Soulja pays $25,000 a month in rent. At trial Soulja’s lawyers argued that the $236k judgement in punitive damages was too high, and despite Soulja’s net-worth, he’s basically in debt. “He doesn’t own any real property and has a $1 million tax lien filed against him.” Soulja Boy’s lawyer said at trial. The trial judge didn’t buy the argument. At trial the judge suggested that Soulja find a place with a lower rent and sell some of his luxuries to help pay the judgement. And it seems as though Ms. Myers is taking the first step in forcing Soulja to do just that.
