A 42-year old man was reportedly killed during a hit-and-run incident on the Roosevelt Boulevard in the Rhawnhurst section of the city early this morning.
A 6-ABC Action News report said the incident happened in the crosswalk near Revere Street & Roosevelt Boulevard at around 12:30 a.m. on Monday morning.
The driver fled the scene after hitting the unidentified victim, who was found in the northbound middle lane by police. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Based on vehicle parts left at the scene, police say the car that struck the victim was likely a 2010-2015 Toyota Prius. No description of the driver was released and no arrests have been made at this time.
