A 31-year old man was reportedly shot and killed in West Philadelphia early this morning.
A 6-ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on the 5500 block of Summer Street in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
First arriving police at the scene reported finding the victim lying in the street suffering from at least 14-gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
Investigators said 30-shell casings were found at the scene. No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
