A 21-year old Philadelphia Streets Department employee was reportedly shot and killed in the Grays Ferry section of the city this morning.
A 6-ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on the 2300 block of Oakford Street at around 9 a.m. on Thursday morning.
Investigators said the Streets Department employee and another man got into a fight inside of the deli on the corner. The victim was reportedly shot twice as he attempted to run out of the store. The victim was hit once in the lower back and one time in the right arm. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died shortly after arriving.
No arrests have been reported at this time.
