The former Chairman of the Proud Boys was reportedly sentenced to 22-years in prison in a Federal courtroom in Washington, D.C. yesterday.

A report from CBS News said Henry “Enrique” Tarrio was convicted of seditious conspiracy along with a host of other charges in relation to the breach of The United States Capitol Building on January 6, 2021.
Tarrio has been in custody since his arrest in 2022. Tarrio’s co-defendant, Ethan Nordean, was sentenced to 18-years last week. Multiple other member of the group received prison sentences between 10 and 17-years in prison for their roles in the riot.
“The citizens of D.C. deserve better. What happened on Jan. 6 was a national embarrassment. To the men and women of law enforcement who answered the call that day, I am sorry. I am not a political zealot. Inflicting harm or changing the results of the election was not my goal. Please show me mercy”, Tarrio said before being sentenced to 22-years behind bars.
