A Philadelphia Police Officer was reportedly injured during a 3-car crash in Northeast Philadelphia early this morning.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened at the intersection of Tyson & Bustleton Avenues at around 2:30 a.m. on Monday morning.
The police car ended up hitting a building on the corner due to the force of the crash. The officer was reportedly left trapped inside of the police cruiser after the accident. He was freed from the wreckage and rushed to a nearby hospital for evaluation. The officer’s current condition was not made available.
There was no word on any pending charges against anyone and no other injuries were reported.
