An unidentified man who police believe to be between the ages of 18-23 years old, was reportedly shot multiple times and killed in West Philadelphia early this morning.
A report from NBC-10 Philly said the shooting happened at 55th & Poplar Streets shortly after 1 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The victim was reportedly shot in the face and chest. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died shortly after arriving. Police said they found two spent shell casings and a bloody tooth at the scene. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
Police said the shooter rode off on a bicycle after the shooting. No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
