The body of 12-year old, Hezekiah Bernard, was discovered inside of a trash can by police in West Philadelphia last week.
A report from Fox-29 Philly said police responded to a call of a “hospital case” on the 5500 block of Cherry Street on August 23rd.
That was where police found the body of the child inside of a trash can that was on the rear of a city dump truck. Investigators said he suffered from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they are investigating but have not yet named a suspect or revealed a possible motive for the shooting at this time.
