A shootout between two groups left one person dead and two others injured in the South Philadelphia section of the city last night.

A report from Fox-29 Philly said the shooting happened at the intersection of 7th & Daly Streets at around 9 p.m. on Thursday night.
First responding police officers reported finding three victims suffering from gunshot wounds when they arrived at the scene. The victims were rushed to Jefferson Hospital by police. A 37-year old male was shot in the abdomen and torso. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. A 21 and 22-year old male were last reported to be in stable condition. Their injuries were not reported.
Police said over 60-shots were fired during the shootout. Police also said they believe the 37-year old victim was the shooter’s intended target, although they did not elaborate. No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
