The shooting in Upper Darby that left one person dead and three others injured on Monday, was reportedly in retaliation for a murder in Clifton Heights, P.A. last week.

A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on the 600 block of Long Lane in Upper Darby at around 5:15 p.m. on Monday evening.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene. Another unidentified victim was rushed to a nearby hospital and was last reported to be in critical condition. Two other victims were reportedly grazed by bullets. They were taken to a nearby hospital where both were treated for non life-threatening injuries.
The shooting happened during a luncheon, after the funeral for 39-year old James Ford, who was shot and killed by his 25-year old nephew, Birchett King during a fight over a car last week. Between 50-100 guests were reportedly present when at least one gunman exited a dark-colored Chevy Malibu and opened fire, according to Upper Darby Police Superintendent, Timothy Bernhardt.
No suspects have been publicly identified by police and no arrests have been made at this time.
