31-year old, Roger Pojar allegedly stole a boat at gunpoint from a dock near Penn’s Landing, after claiming that he was an FBI Agent.
A report from Fox-29 Philly said the incident happened at the Pier 5 Marina near Penn’s Landing at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
Pojar reportedly jumped onboard while a boat club was performing training exercises. Pojar sped off down the Delaware River for about two miles before being stopped by the Coast Guard near the Walt Whitman Bridge.
Authorities said Pojar claimed to be an FBI Agent. Police said they recovered a loaded semi-automatic handgun that was stolen from Philadelphia.
