A 24-year old man was reportedly shot multiple times in West Philadelphia near St. Joseph’s University City Campus Library early this morning.
A report from Fox-29 Philly said the shooting happened on the 700 block of South 42nd Street at around 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest, back, and torso. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in critical but stable condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
The 24-year old victim was not identified, but police said he is from Coatesville, P.A. No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
