Former president of the United States, Donald Trump, and 18 of his allies were indicted in Georgia yesterday for attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.

A 6 ABC Action News report said the 97-page indictment released on Monday, accuses Trump and his 18-codefendants of many illegal acts in the attempt to overturn Georgia’s election results, including tampering with voting machines in one Georgia County, and stealing data from another county in Georgia.

“Trump and the other defendants charged in this indictment refused to accept that Trump lost, and they knowingly and willfully joined conspiracy to unlawfully change the outcome of the election in favor of Trump”, said the indictment issued by Fulton County District Attorney, Fani Willis on Monday night.
