A teenager who is believed to be 16 or 17-years old, was reportedly shot in the face in West Philadelphia last night.

A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened at 55th Street & Haverford Avenue at around 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday night.
Police say two groups of teenagers got into an altercation at the location. Gunshots were fired soon afterward, and the teenage victim was reportedly shot in the face. First arriving police officers at the scene reported finding the victim at the location unresponsive. Officers rushed the victim to Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia where he was last reported to be in critical condition.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
