A 74-year old man was shot multiple times and killed in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city this evening. A female bystander, believed to be in her 20’s was also injured during the shooting.
A report from CBS-3 Philly said the shooting happened on the 2600 block of Arizona Street on Wednesday evening.
First arriving police at the scene reported finding the victim inside of a home on the block suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. The female victim was an innocent bystander who reportedly suffered a graze wound while walking in the area. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
