A 36-year old man was reportedly shot and killed in the Harrowgate neighborhood in the Tioga section of the city last night.
A 6 ABC-Action News report said the shooting happened on the 1900 block of East Ontario Street at around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday night.
Investigators said the victim ran about a block away to a neighbor’s house for help after being shot in the arm. The victim was reportedly conscious and speaking when police arrived. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead about an hour after arriving. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
Police said the victim was uncooperative and refused to say who shot him or where he was shot at. Since the victim reportedly ran from the shooting location, police do not know where the crime scene is, right now. No suspects have been named and no arrests have been reported at this time.
