A 34-year old woman was reportedly hit by a car and killed in the Wissinoming section of the city last night.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the accident happened near Harbison & Benner Streets at around 11 p.m. on Tuesday night.
Investigators said the 34-year old woman was wearing dark clothing and was crossing the road in an area that is not well lit, when she was hit by a driver who had the green light.
The driver reportedly remained at the scene after the accident. No charges are expected to be filed. Police called the crash a “tragic accident.”
